I really thought they were going to be really good, but you can't control injuries.

It's part of the game, so now you've got to pivot at the deadline.

But I think they do have enough.

Look, I think the injury to Matt Shaw hurts.

I think Matt Shaw was a really good trade piece for them.

Not that he can't be traded injured, because he can.

I think Kevin Alcantara, if you don't have to keep him because Suzuki and Happ are free agents...

I think he's kind of an inviting corner outfielder that never has been given a runway with the Cubs.

I'm not sure why, but I think that's another interesting name out there that certainly has trade value.

So look, I definitely expect the Chicago Cubs to be active.

I definitely expect that we'll see by Monday at six o'clock, they will have acquired one or two pitchers.

I'll be surprised that they don't.

I just will be shocked or stunned that they're able to get one of the big names just because

You know, if either Scooble or Miller is traded, if, and that's a huge if, you know, the teams that have better systems are more Dodgers, Yankees, Brewers, Rays have better systems than the Cubs and have, you know, more prospect power in their cabinets than the Chicago Cubs do at this point.

Yeah, I mean, I think maybe Hunter Green gets trade from the Reds, which is pretty amazing.

I mean, as long as his medicals are cleared, just because he has the potential of being a number one, and he's young and he's controllable and he signs, so I think that would be a shock.

Abrams and the Nationals, even though they're in the middle of the race here, they're at least listening on him.

They've not been able to extend him long-term, which has been a problem.

His trade value will never be higher.
