This the show uh is called Speaking with Authority and it's a double entendre and the reason why I I thought of that is one, I wanna interview people who are good at speaking. matched

You know, I want I want somebody who has got up on stage and spoke, but I also want somebody who is an authority on something. matched

And the challenge sometimes I when you think about it is what gives a person the right to speak with authority? matched

What makes us see right through somebody who's trying to fake it? matched

I just want to think about that and flesh that out with you. matched

Uh what piece of leadership advice do you hear consistently that you think is just flat out wrong? matched

A lot of times people think that uh they're a great leader and they're going to lead. matched

because they are a micromanager and they're going to lead because they're looking at tasks and they don't understand about leading being what is leadership. matched

You manage projects, you manage tasks, you manage systems, you lead people. matched

And another word for lead is influence. matched

Can you influence another person? matched

And I think that is more of a leadership matched

But there's there's lots of misconceptions on on leadership and what leadership is and how do you develop leaders and and and things like that. matched
