He's not a plus defender at the middle infield positions to where he's going to make a mark.

Don't factor him into the next iterations of the White Sox infield and more or less see if he can hold on to a bench job.
You know, he's worked, I think, tirelessly and through so many changes to his swing and trying to find something that feels right.
And finally, this is the year where it's just he's making loud contact, reliably hard contact.
You know, he's still not going to, you know, rival necessarily Colson Montgomery for raw power, but he's going to take advantage of mistakes like that hanging splitter that he hit in the second deck.

he might kind of lift that one and let the backspin carry it out to the first five rows of the right field, but he wouldn't necessarily get into it.
Now I think he's in a position to where he does have an ace swing that creates more power and makes him more of a threat,
You know, maybe he's not going to hit 45 homers like he was on pace with Charlotte.
Charlotte kind of exacerbates power numbers and creates a lot of cheap homers.
But a lot of the homers he was hitting at Charlotte were not cheap, would go out anywhere.
And so if he's a 20 homer guy, which he might very well be now if he gets the kind of playing time.
and has still the contact ability to take hits to opposite field when the count gets deeper and he has to make something out of nothing, that's a useful player.
And then the question becomes the good kind of question, where does he get playing time when Munataka Murakami comes back?

That's fine.
The White Sox have – I've been urging them for years to have more bets than spots, whether it's DH or first base.
They always – thinking back to the Andrew Vaughn years, going with Andrew Vaughn as a plan A in his rookie year or going with Oscar Colas in his rookie year as a plan A and thinking, like, challenge these guys.
