Obviously, there's always going to be crime in countries.

Crime rates in Ireland are particularly low.

There's still, I want to see them get lower.

But we have a good quality of life here.

And I think most people recognise that.

No, I think my mother did maybe a couple of years ago, but aside from that, no, I don't think so.

I don't know, I don't think so.

Well, of course, I can't predict the future.

But at some stage, you know, if I'm healthy and still a member of Dáil Éireann and there's a vacancy for the position of leader of Fianna Fáil, yeah, it's something I'd be interested in going for.

Listen, I'm also like this.

Obviously, you both do your job extremely well professionally, and your objective is to try and get a narrative out of me that may create some conflict or tension, and I perfectly respect you doing that.

But I suppose from my point of view, I don't want to be seen to be somebody who's...

So, like, there's no vacancy at present.

Micheál Martin, as I said, is doing a very good job.

He's been leader for a period of time.

A vacancy will arise at some stage in the future.

At that stage, I'll come back to you and I'll talk to both of you about that.

Listen, my ambition in politics was to be Minister for Justice and it is a real privilege to do that job and I think I'm doing a good job and I'm effective in that job and there's lots of things I want to do in it and I enjoy every day of it.
