As an alumni, I could use my alumni tickets more than once a year.
That would be awesome.
But certainly this is something that
What we don't want to have is get the thing built and then figure out where the problems are and then let's fix them later.
That's not how this works.
Trailer bills in Illinois, those things never work out very well.
Let's get a good piece of legislation that encompasses everything that we're concerned about and our residents are concerned about.
You know, I don't think you'll find anybody involved in the process that isn't frustrated how long it's taken.
I think, you know, it's just kind of a quagmire.
And people keep saying, oh, it's just Illinois politics, and that's how things are done in Illinois.
And if that's the case, then things are really, really truly broken.
I understand it's not something that gets done overnight.
But believe me, I'm not naive enough to think that a project of this size and of this magnitude and the billions of dollars isn't going to take a little bit of wrangling from time to time.
But for it to take this long, you know, three years and still really have no clarity, it certainly is frustrating.
I know it's frustrating for everybody involved.
And, you know, we just truly want to have, again, some type of leadership in the region to step up and make sure that โ
you know that when we get to the finish line it's done correctly but yeah there's no doubt i can't i can't imagine there's anybody who's i i don't want to say surprised because people who are in the know and and in and in springfield you know they knew this was going to take a lot longer than i think what the people should it with the bears thought i think the you know the leadership of the bears thought it was going to be a lot easier of a process um but uh
but, you know, they obviously hadn't dealt with the state legislature with regards to stuff like this.
It's just kind of how things are done down there.
Yeah, you know, I think what we saw was, you know, you lose some guys on the back end, so you replace, right?
