So I think it's really important to get that spot on for the next little phase.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think like that, I think even for myself, like having been a part of that, you know, back end of my career, the start of his coaching journey with England,
Like even the last 12 months, you know, with the Ashes Away and stuff and doing media, you kind of get like blinkered into what's happening right now.
And you sort of, you do almost forget like how good it was at the start.
But like I said, I think because the personnel in that group's changed, you know, pretty drastically since then.
that first couple of years it's not quite worked out with this group so yeah I hope you know obviously it was great to see England get to number one in the world in T20s he's obviously doing a good job there Harry Brook as well was captain so I think you know it could be a real positive move for everyone yeah
I think it is a tough ask for someone to coach and captain all three formats.
I think it's really difficult.
There's not many nations in the world where that happens or certainly where it happens successfully.
So I think this could actually be a really good thing for England.
I feel for him like, because like you say, the last 18 months, there's been a, you know, quite a bit of stuff going on away from cricket that's down to the players.
And like, he's coming and trying to, he's trying to treat everyone like,
adults, trying to give them responsibility.
It's your team, it's your game, your career, you know, your responsibility to be professional and go out there and perform.
And he tries to take pressure off with, in terms of that, like making sure everyone's comfortable and happy to go out there and be positive and proactive and stuff.
And I think he's been, he has been let down a little bit by people in the last 12 to 18 months.
And obviously as coach, you do take a little bit of the flack for that.
But yeah, I think that's a shame really.
Go on, Jim.
