And I said, boy, this is interesting how people get passed over because of how they look.
And and I needed people and and I I needed good people and and because people get passed over, uh, because they're judged the way I was judged as a fat kid, I mean, back in the early days, and you go into a restaurant by yourself and and you're a fat guy, they put you back in the corner, you know, upstairs.
And and if you walk into a restaurant and you're a beautiful person, they put you right in front and showcase you.
That was my that was my life.
So
Long story short, my journey of helping people, I needed help at Jimmy Jones.
I started helping by by fixing teeth.
So move the ball forward.
I opened up that first store in Charleston and replaced myself.
And when OLA was the manager there, and I moved out to McComb, Illinois.
And I opened up my second store at Western Illinois University, and I had a gal there by the name of Mary McCarty.
And it was a similar situation.
And and I I fixed her teeth.
And she ended up uh running that store and then becoming an area manager for me.
And then as my journey continued on, it was just became just card of my part of my MO.
I'd hire people and they're wonderful people and and I started fixing things for them and doing things for them that they couldn't do for themselves.
Whether it would be a tattoo in the wrong place, I'd fix that, or they would mutilate themselves with gauges in their ears when they were young and and making uh decisions.
That weren't quite in the best interest of their long-term self, best self.
And so I started repairing gauges and I started doing things like this and helping people with their self-esteem.
