I lived in the living room.

He had a bedroom, you know?

And we're just doing open mics.

And my buddy Sean had this idea.

we opened up a comedy club on the second floor of Hooters on Hollywood Boulevard.

And we'll be like New York comics, where we'll bark and try to get these tourists up there.

So at least every night we have like five, 10 customers.

Because in LA, it's really hard to get stage time if you're not a famous person, if you don't have a TV credit, a special.

So we have to build our own stage time.

So that's why we'll open up that Hooters comedy club, and we grind it there, pass out tickets every night just so we have an audience.

And then that's the only way to get good is stage time.

Yeah.

You mentioned Rap City and BET, Comic View and all those things.

Did you understand?

I don't know if you really understood the importance.

I mean, obviously being from being...

coming to this country and not really understanding the importance of BET, Rhapsody, and Comic View because they were huge for the culture.

Because Comic View and Deaf Comedy Jam, that really launched the comics and put them, if you got on there, now you can tour and you could like, and everybody knew who you were.

And so you watching that, is that when you really started to say, you know what?

That's what I want to do.
