No, not at all.

Really?

I started stand-up because I was just bored.

I was really kind of depressed.

That's why I like all these different jobs because I had an economics major in college.

I really didn't want to do that.

I had an internship.

And then I just took on odd jobs like the strip club DJ.

I sold used cars.

What else did I do?

I worked at a comedy club, worked at a shoe store just to see what I like.

And then standup was one of the things that I tried and I was like, oh, I'm pretty good at this.

And this gave me an outlet creatively and also it was, it gave me somewhere to hang out.

I wasn't really cool enough to go to clubs.

I didn't have like cool friends that would be like, popping bottles or whatever.

And I was like 20 some, so I needed something.

So I would just hang out at the comedy clubs every night and just grind it out.

Like in my twenties, I really didn't go out outside of the comedy club.

That was my going out.

And luckily, from that, I developed a skill.
