Right, the things that they studied, the way that they started working when they were young, what they learnt on the job, how technology slowly came in and they had to adopt it.
All of that is completely different for a young person today.
So they're designing a world
that is leveraging old frameworks without consultation of young people, it feels like a really big gap.
I'm really glad that you brought up this education piece because one of the things that I'm
most concerned about that I kind of check sporadically is neat and the neat starts, you know, uh young people who are not not employed, not studying, not training, not doing anything.

And that's really getting worse, not better, unfortunately.
Young people three times as likely to be unemployed.
And, you know, a lot of the anecdotal things that we're hearing about
kids not really knowing what should I study because I don't know what the future skill set is gonna need to be.
I'm starting a data science degree, but is that gonna be even relevant by the time that I graduate?
Is my job going to be outsourced?
Am I gonna have an entry level role?
And then obviously all of that really playing into lower uptake in signing up for an education, lower jobs post education.
this point around really including young people in the policy or the strategies or the thinking around future employment.

I mean we need to look at it through a l a lens of optimism, right?
