Yeah, well, as you know, 70,000, estimated 70,000 migrants stormed into Spain from that enclave Ceuta.
The Italian Prime Minister, Giorgio Maloney, yes, was quick to attack the Spanish government for offering an amnesty to migrants.
She immediately suspended the Schengen arrangements that allow for passport-free movement between European countries.
And she's pushing for the EU to finance offshore migrant processing centres like the two Italy-supported in Albania.
She wants to see them in Ghana, Rwanda and Uganda.
They've got to do something.
I think it was all very conservative when the EU interior ministers met on Tuesday calling for tougher action.
So what?
We're already seeing plans or speculation of another surge of migrants taking place next week in southern Spain, some speculation on social networks.
But the other thing I think that's important here, Mike, is the Italian Prime Minister is also being a little bit sneaky here because, remember, she's offering work permits to thousands of people and many of these are foreign workers that are already in Italy.
So I'm wondering if she's hedging her bets a bit here.
