When did you come up with the name Jodie?
The name was given to me early on.
You mean somebody thought of it, or one of the managers who was actually employing you said, we need a good name.
One of the queens, yeah, one of the other queens.
And the harsh?
The whole name was just given to me.
I'll go with that, and you've gone with that.
I think it depends on the spatial context.
I wouldn't get into drag at home to hang out because it's so incredibly uncomfortable.
it's itchy and it's painful and it's and it's the way you sit and position yourself it's just there's a lot to think about and the lashes are itchy and it's not a comfortable thing no one ever said that doing drag was comfortable um i feel in an in a public space i'll only go out in drag because that's my public um presentation and i feel it just gives me that extra it's like armor
bit of a cliche but you know it's that layer of armor and that layer of it's my it's my kind of like if i if i worked in the city i'd be wearing a suit and i'd act a bit differently and i would have some more confidence because i'm in i'm in my work clothes you know and i'm ready to work and that's how i feel when i'm when i'm in drag yeah but when you go to sleep you are jay

As soon as I get through the front door, the lashes are off in the cab and I get through the front door and it's being scrubbed off.
