We are really learning.
There's nothing performative about it.
And we are just doing the thing, right?
And then we're
after we've been in there for several hours we get to go to lunch in this little village and most of us have a little wine and we have a little prosecco because you know italy right because we can and then after that we're feeling so good we go back to the studio for a couple of hours and continue to work and then somewhere midday
We call it some artists want to go do a little shopping.
Some artists want to go take a nap.
Some artists want to go for a limoncello spritz or glass of wine.
There's no judgment on any of it.
But eventually what we end up doing is towards the end of the day, we will have a super unique adventure excursion that is not available to everyone.
the public.
You can only do this because of our host, Strada Toscana, Pamela Hack, and she creates experiences that just simply are not available anywhere else.
So by day two, things begin to shift because the first day you arrive in Italy, sometimes you're a little jet lagged, but something shifts on day two and it's palpable.
You can really feel it.
The
artists, we start to relax and, you know, we're just painting.
And frankly, that's one of my very favorite things to witness in the world.
But this year I had two really remarkable things happen.
I want to tell you about the first one is.
I had the privilege of painting right next to a woman who she was just, she was just so kind, so fun.
