You know, I wouldn't do as a head coach or, you know, just as I build the staff and put it all together in the vision.
And it was I mean, shoot, even with Josh Allen.
Right.
You know, he's in there kind of, you know, asking questions.
And so it was I'm appreciative of how they handled the approach.
But it was it was not an easy one.
Yeah.
I mean, look, I'm, I'm not naive to know.
I've never been a head coach, right?
So I'm understanding that there's elements like the only way to get head coaching experience is to be a head coach.
And there's elements that I, you know, I've been fortunate.
I've been so fortunate.
The coaches I've been around to be able to kind of see them, see what they do, but I'm not with them at all times.
And so there's going to be, there's going to be elements of me trying to figure out, Hey, what that kind of looks like, you know, in the schedule and the balance.
Um,
But to me, the most important thing for me is when I got this job was making sure that it is and it will always be about the players.
And, you know, man, it was so important for me to, hey, and I'm still in the process of going through that.
But, you know, especially the defensive guys, I'm not the offense coordinator anymore.
The defense and special teams guys, you know, hearing from me, you know, making sure that they, you know, plug the number in, you know, and as we can develop and grow this relationship like I obviously had on the offense side of the ball.
Well, I hope we have such a strong relationship, but we also have a relationship built on professionalism and accountability, and he knows I want him to get everything that he deserves.
