you know, kind of all along, again, kind of going back to just how I'm kind of wired up to think it's, you know, I'm not, oh man, always scale, but it is like, oh man, could this scale?
Could this grow?
And stay handmade, right?
And so I think there was something with me.
It's like, man, I'm not anti-machine manufacturing.
I'm not anti-overseas manufacturing necessarily, but for what I was doing and what I'm trying to build, I love the fact that I get to provide meaningful jobs for people in my hometown.
And here in Waco, Texas, and going back to kind of what we started with, just the joy and the fulfillment of creating something with your own two hands.
And so kind of all throughout, I was like, man, how can I grow this thing to be a sustainable, profitable business all the while, you know, not have a six-month lead time, right?
Yeah, yeah.
have some hand-stitched wallets or handmade totes or duffel bags.
You're going to just only either increase your price or lead time.
Both things aren't bad necessarily, but man, how can I do things quickly with excellence without compromising quality?
And so we've really kind of leaned towards just simple leather goods.
And then man, on the gift front, I love a good gift myself.
I love thinking through how to get to know someone.
