Anyway, so Tony Brown was not happy with the current state of Wanaka.
Once we got that out of the way, and yes, he did drive the Crown Range, by the way, we got to the interesting part of the interview.
It was about five, six minutes long at this stage.
I've edited it down to three.
So this is what Hosking and Tony Brown had a conversation about this morning.
Do you know when I was editing that this morning, I thought to myself, geez, okay, it sounds pretty adamant that he has shut down any kind of
either questions he's had from New Zealand rugby about this or he shut down any kind of opportunity to take this role.
But now hearing that back after editing it, I go, maybe he is just still sitting on the fence after that.
It's still got that vibe about it.
I mean, at the same time, what I will say about that is if Tony Brown wanders into Ressie's office, he goes, hey, look, a bit going on right now at home.
Do you think I could get out of here on compassionate grounds?
I think if I'm Ressie, I'm going to go, hang on.
And what was the second thing?
Yeah, and I did really want to do it.
But in that interview there, is Tony Brown saying a little bit too much about staying in this job?
