And what they've shown us over the the course of, I think, the last couple of months, but especially here in the last week when they started shooting at our ships and deliberately saying we have munitions that we have
Manufactured to take your ships uh to the bottom of the Persian Gulf and we're going to use them when they're shooting volleys at our bases in Jordan.
And then this morning they're continuing to target the oil tankers.
The Iranians are showing us this is existential and they are going to go on the offensive.
So we're leaving our guys over there in this vulnerable position.
Even if I was an advocate for continuing the war, I would actually have the exact same military advice right now.
I would say get our guys out of there.
Because if our guys get killed, it's going to suck us into the war away from our own terms.
The president should pull them out, but he's not because he's listening to the pro-Israel lobby and the neocons who want some of our guys to get killed so that we can then have to go in in a very, very hard way, but without a lot of thought.
These guys, that the Israeli lobby and the neocons, they see uh opportunity in us losing.
Using troops because that's going to commit us to the war in almost an uncontrolled way, with either ground forces or using some kind of a tacular nuclear weapon.
If the president were to pull our forces out, focus on the economics, that's gonna give uh diplomacy a chance.
But also, we can we've proven that we can project power into Iran if we want to.
I'm not advocating for that, but the president has that in his arsenal.
As a matter of fact, with Operation Midnight Hammer, he proved that we can do it.
We flew those uh aircraft from the
the US, not from our bases in the region.
So our bases in the region right now make no tactical sense whatsoever.
So for us just to leave them within range is completely and totally negligent.
And it it's really going to start eroding the trust that we have between our troops and our leaders.
