I mean they've proven they have the capability, so I don't know if they hit 'em or not.
I'm surprised that airline company went along with that.
Um, because yeah, that's gonna make them a viable military target.
I mean it's not good, I'm not condoning it, but I'm j I'm just saying that the the Iranians, uh Hezbollah, the Houthis, all these different groups that have proven they have the capability, you're basically green lighting and announcing to them that all of these different, you know, aircraft uh that that obstensibly are civilian, that they're viable military targets.
So I I think this is a a horrible idea and uh
I I hope the civilian airliners all put out a statement saying that they're they're simply not doing that.
Yeah.
I mean it's just the c we're we're um there's so many balls in the air right now in terms of potential for unintended consequences, black swan event, whatever you want to call it, that it it it's almost uh it's impossible for us to predict because of the proxy war that's going on in Ukraine.
We've already seen the potential for those those fronts that are merging.
We're at a critical juncture there.
Everything that we've just discussed is going on the in the Middle East, I I think because of our American normalcy bias, um, probably not the viewers of this show
But most Americans are thinking like, oh, these are wars over there, nothing's gonna happen here.
But you know, we're approaching the twenty-fifth anniversary of September eleventh, and we should remember that these things can come back here and affect us in the homeland.
And just because the world has been peaceful for the most part, uh, for us since post-World War two, that that does not mean that that always will be that way.
I mean, if you look at the way the world the first world war began.
with multiple conflicts that weren't linked and different alliances being formed.
That that's really what's happening right now.
And history doesn't repeat, but it certainly rhymes.
And so I I think we need to be very, very wary about the amount of escalation and just where our leaders' heads are right now.
Well, I think Trump very much wants this thing to be over, but he's locked in that he has to get some kind of a a military victory or a diplomatic victory.
