So these are things you've got to be wary of.
And, of course, he's probably started in his past.
I mean, most of these young pitchers have been starters before.
They're not relievers out of the birth canal.
They grow into that eventually.
So I have no issue with that, none.
But just you have to be aware of that.
Look for an off day.
You try to figure it out where it's not going to beat up your bullpen nearly as much regarding stretching the scalp.
But again, if you could send him back, and he has to understand this is not a demotion.
We're actually trying to promote you into the rotation, but we need to get you stretched a bit.
so that again, we don't impact the entire staff.
Why don't they do it more often?
There's such a premium on bullpen and bullpen arms and swing and miss and young guys that throw 102 miles an hour.
I mean, part of it is just the methodology being employed right now, I believe.
Listen, I'll take five solid, six solid starters with two more in AAA, like eight or nine guys that I think can give us not five innings, six, six plus innings.
I still think that's the better way to do this thing.
Um, you look at your bullpen, I watch you guys a lot and the backend gets really utilized, um, often.
And that's just the way of the world right now.
And then here comes the end of the year.
