And I I just think there's that that one level is it's it's not just one level because you're up here you're seeing so much more, I think, consistent velocity, the movement, and I would say location too, even though again I don't want to make it sound like big league pitchers don't miss their spots.

Of course they do.

But those are the things.

And with Alan, I you know, in spring training, I just thought he looked so different.

So I'm not sure what happened when

the season started, if he altered his swing, but between the two of them, you got Schneider from the right side, Roden from the left side, very different swings, yes.

But you have to, yes, you have to adjust and be who you are and what you do best.

But at the same and I'm not saying you have to cover the whole zone.

But at the same time, I mean if you don't try to cover an area that's your weakness, you're going to get eaten up, I think, at this level because they're going to hit their spots

plenty enough that you're gonna struggle.

Yeah, Jordan's a funny guy, great guy, and he was a lot of fun to cover here as a blue jay, and it's almost hard to believe he's not a blue jay anymore.

And I I you know, I wish him the best aside from these three days coming up, but he um he's he had a little bumpy road early on too and and we've seen that and we've seen it with Jeff Hoffman on this side.

And I I feel for as a catch or I always felt for relief pitchers in in general, but especially closures, because when you have a bad one or two, it it can

Wreck your mutt.

And uh you pitchers can say that they ignore the numbers, they don't ignore the numbers.

They see the numbers just like we do.

So when your ER go ERA goes from two to five in one outing, it's not a lot of fun.

And as relievers, it takes a long time to get those numbers back.

The nice thing about closers, and Hoffman's probably a perfect example here, is you don't need to look at the ERA.

Just look at the saves.
