So, you know, there's some elder statesmen and the international team that really came together to drive that.
And the thinking is pretty holistic and it's been really impressive to hear Europe.
Jeff and others talk about the Shield and knowing that that's more than just once every two years for a week when they play together, that means developing it grassroots level in the countries that they're from.
Ultimately with the goal of how do you have a kid growing up here in Australia that dreams or aspires to play for the international team, much like Rory grew up wanting to play for European team in the Ryder Cup.
That's the objective.
And again, we're a little bit on a timeline behind where the Ryder Cup was at their origination.
So exciting future ahead.
And I think by the time we get here to 2028, we're going to be the benefactors of all of that good work.
Oh, it's going to be, I believe they're on pace to be the biggest event we've ever hosted in the US, which is a
Big testament to the team that's there at Medina.
Obviously a historic golf course that's hosted a really spectacular Ryder Cup back in the early 2000s.
just redesigned by OCM, who we're familiar with here throughout the sand belt.
So looking at a massive event, again, Captain Jeff Holvey leading the international team, Captain Brent Snedeker, who came through with a win last week, his first in over 10 years, I believe, leading the U.S.
team.
So a hot race to make each team at the moment, but should be a great event.
It's mad.
You know, I got here at a great time right when the AFL was kicking off.
So I've gotten to take in, I believe, three footy matches now.
You know, one of them being Collingwood Carlton on Thursday night.
And you got 80,000 people screaming at a sport that just doesn't seem to ever stop.
