It's everything you want to see, really.
I think, you know, when you see Izak in that sort of form and, you know, thinking that he can maybe get to a sort of prime, you think, God, the possibilities are endless.
You know, I'm never really talking to count that he could be maybe, you know, a 25, sort of 30 goal season striker, but...
The way he sort of plays, you think, OK, maybe that is sort of really within him.
And I thought what I really wanted and what I said before the game was that I just want Izak to score by any means because then it means that the goal against Forest sort of means more and then he's on to some sort of run that any sort of striker wants to build that sort of confidence.
I just didn't think that confidence would result three minutes later with the second goal.
And you look at the second goal.
obviously he takes an extra touch and plays it in with his left foot and I just feel like if he takes that you know a couple of games ago he just doesn't take the risk he just tries to
hit it with his stronger foot maybe you know gets blocked off the defender or saved by the keeper so you want to just see more of that I love with the second one as well when you see it back and he's
you know, screaming at Virg for that sort of second pass and it's quite funny because he's having a little strop, it actually allows him to sort of hold his run and then he can make that sort of second run and look, that's the Gachbow as well for the assist but Isaac, if we can keep that up, we've got some player on our hands.
Yeah, on Gakbo, just to give him some more flowers, because I think he sort of really deserves it.
I think he's just shown he's a really sort of intelligent footballer.
I think, look, at the end of the day, you don't get to where he's got, you know, being a starter for Liverpool, being one of the key players for a big nation like sort of Netherlands, pure luck.
And he's not the most, you know, not got the most sort of physical powers.
So he's obviously had to get to where he's got by being a very good technical forward, but also just being intelligent across the pitch.
And I can really think you can really see that in the sort of partnerships that he's built.
And it wasn't my expected partnership, Isaac and Gap,
I wasn't coming into the season thinking them two will take off but you give those examples Rob for obviously Newcastle and then against Ipswich it's all feeding into Isaac and playing with Isaac and I think when Gakbo was sometimes at his best I think he built up a good relationship with Salah and
You know, you're not seeing those back post crosses that he was once doing, but that shows that he can also sort of change with his game.
And I do think there is a sort of big mindset shift for sure.
