I think what you saw against Forrest when he came off and he's given the fourth official absolutely loads.

It seems like he's sort of really bought into the season.

I don't know if the managers had a word with him or he's just got a new sort of perspective, but I'm really loving what I'm seeing so

Well, yeah, I think he's slowly moving to be the first pick in that sort of double pivot or two in midfield.

And I think the way the manager is setting up, as he said, he's clever with the spaces and you absolutely need that.

We need someone who's going to just sometimes hold the position.

And I think there's a couple of examples in the first half.

There's one where Ipswich are breaking.

And it's not the best out-pass out wide, but McAllister's just there, and just by him being there, breaks down the counter-attack, and it makes sort of all the difference.

And there's another one where, I think it's Emerson, wins the header and flicks it on to Enciso, and Enciso looks like he's almost through, but somehow, I don't know where to get it from, McAllister manages to beat him ball, drag him back, and then it's a much harder chance.

And that's what we sort of really miss well, especially against Newcastle.

And then I think we all know what he can do on the ball.

I think he releases it well.

He plays through the team well.

He's good and built up when possible.

So, yeah, I want to see that sort of continue.

It'd be interesting how it develops across the season if McAllister and Somerset do that, make that their own.

But I think as it's going so far, McAllister's really putting his place in the team and looks to stay for now.
