It's that kind of still sharpness, still element, I think has really helped them this season.
You mentioned Liverpool scored in the 21-22 season.
I thought that was the perfect example of that.
But, like you say, that only works for one year because it got to the point where Mane wanted to leave and then by that point, Jota would come back in and Diaz was starting to come into his own.
You can only really keep everybody happy for such a period of time.
I look at what they've got to do because I'm doing it in their shoes.
I'm Arsenal.
So first of all, I thought this was going to be piss easy, just keep everyone.
And then I looked at who they've got an inspiring contract.
So two years are left on their deal as of this summer.
Declan Rice, Timber, Odegaard, Havertz, David Reier, Ben White, Mikel Moreno and Kepa.
That's a lot of players and a lot of players.
Yeah, and so if they're going to be going through a season of contract negotiations with all of them,
then that's going to complicate things.
Because as we've seen with Liverpool, is that when you've got that going on in the background, it can start to harm things, particularly that kind of chemistry and harmony and unity within the squad.
So that's another element that they're going to have to deal with.
But in terms of the on-pitch stuff, I'm fascinated, we've kind of focused a little bit more on the rules changing to stop them from scoring goals.
And we've all fixated on that because Arsenal don't really look like they have a lot of ways of scoring goals.
They only conceded 27 goals in the league.
Like, that's going to be the problem for anyone trying to chase them.
