Well, it wasn't a fluke.
Uh Navy outplayed USF, I think that's safe to say, and they did from the get go.
Uh the the the original sin was the first half falling behind twenty four to nine.
USF certainly picked up the pace in the second half, but you mean you can't pick up the pace against a team like Navy.
You gotta get on top of 'em and and you find yourself deep in a game, needing another possession or a stop or something, and uh it usually doesn't
come.
So that's where USF found itself.
Uh no margin for error in the second half.
Uh just just didn't uh couldn't stop the long plays uh in the first quarter of 82 and 76 yards for crying out loud and then in the fourth quarter 64 yard touchdown run so the defense just uh was not up to not up to snuff.
Byron Brown had a great game.
The offense did move the ball but
uh the bulls fall forty one thirty eight.
You can look at a a ton of things, including uh in the first half a fourth and one where they gave it to the offensive lineman, Cole Skinner, and he got nothing.
Um you know, I I I think y Alex Golas in his press conference, he he's obviously he said he'd like to have that one back.
I mean I think when you hand it to the offensive lineman, it uh it's great when it works.
It it's I think it's something to do when you're ahead.
I don't know if it's something to do when you're behind.
Uh you know.
Yeah.
So it obviously didn't work, but uh that was just part of a a a a tapestry of mistakes that that USF made and and falling just short.
