Um the Memphis game a few weeks earlier, I I came away from that thinking USF was the better team and and they blew it.

Uh this game was more Navy outplayed 'em.

USF just didn't have

the answers at the right times, but all all adds up to a couple of uh very difficult close losses and an opportunity that simply does not come around every every week or every year or or maybe ever to have to be able to walk into your conference title game uh potentially and and get a college football playoff bid.

And USF has uh thrown that away and uh there's no other way to say it.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the personal attacks obviously, but I do know that football and football coaches they're all um, you know, subject to second guessing.

I mean, we've seen it with Todd Bowles, with Tony Dundee, with John Gruden, with John McKay for crying out loud.

I mean, uh that's and every football coach, Steve Spurrier, Bobby Baldon, they were all second guessed for things they did and and the fans hated 'em.

Uh that's just the nature of it.

And you're you're one week away, one went away from

from changing that conversation.

But I I think um and maybe I don't know if it's unrealist unrealistic expectations, but I think you know, I don't know that USF is entitled to a college football playoff bid, but it was right there in front of them and I think, you know, that being pulled away is is painful and the fans have to take out their wrath on somebody and and just happen to be the head coach.

But uh yeah.

The long and short ideas, um

Alex Golish is a good coach.

I if you don't think this program has improved a thousand percent since the day you walked in.

And you're not paying attention.
