Um, because functionally I was just as talented at handling a gunfight on the first volley as I was on the the end of the deployment.

I'd actually make the case I was worse by the end of deployment 'cause you're more complacent.

of it wore off, maybe.

I don't know how to put it.

No, no, it's a good question.

I I would say that when I when I first got to Afghanistan, uh I was brand new guy, you know, I I'm

completely well trained.

I mean, I've done all the training as anybody else.

I'm ready for this deployment.

I've just never employed my skill set in real life.

But I'm so green, you know, I've I've never done anything combat related.

I've only done training and that really hits you hard when you at least for me, when I got in country.
