You get there in the Jag, who's the the the Navy uh lawyer, they have you like sign a document saying like you you understand that you're gonna be leaving the wire and you could be like killed or maimed.
Yep, totally get it.
Like signing my permission slip to go to war.
Oh, and they give it to you there.
It's like I forget what it was, but it was some goofy like legal understanding.
understanding of what you're getting yourself into and I'm like, all right, I guess this is weird.
But then we drive out

And so we we hop in these up armored vehicles.
They're called MRAPs and they're like sixty thousand pound, huge, like IED proof vehicles.
And I remember I had meticulously arranged all my equipment and I'd put it in the in the ISU, the big shipping container that got sent ahead of us.
But something I didn't even consider is that I would potentially need to arrive in Afghanistan and immediately put my kit on and go use it.
And so I have all the things that I might want to molly onto my kit, you know, all the different holsters and all the different mag pouches and all the that I was gonna put together.
Cause remember my head is like, I'm gonna get there.
I'm gonna have a at least a few days to think about what I want to put on my kit, how I wanna arrange it.
But as soon as we get there, the team eight guys like, dude, let's get the fuck out of here.

We're just gonna go and let's just knock out a mission tonight so you guys can kind of like break it in.
Because there's so many missions you have to do until they can go home.
