And so we would be driving along the side of these mountains where the mountain, it's practically a cliff face.
The road, even if it was in great condition, was so narrow and it wasn't designed for 60,000 ton MRAPs.

So we'd have to turn these corners where the wheels literally are hanging a couple of inches off the road.
So no guardrail, it's pure death if you go down below.
And like there's all these pockets on the road from blasts.
So it's just like this crazy thing.
This 45 minute, like white knuckling ride.

And I'm thinking, like, I my mags are all over the place.
I don't even know if my gun will work right now.
Like, I put my gun together, like on the fly.
And so I I'm so stressed.
We finally get to our base, which is just this fog.
But not a fob, it was like a little outstation, just Hesco barriers.
And it's it looks like out in the middle of nowhere.
I mean, it was on the leading edge of sort of the NATO war effort.
It was it was one of the last spots before Kabul.
