I I preferred to go drink in the woods with my friends and not go to school.

Um but then uh

I went to college because my mom wrote my college essay, got me to school, and I immediately after one semester effectively flunked out.

I technically withdrew, but bad behavior, you know, horrible grades.

It was clear that I was not cut out for college.

So in order to avoid expulsion, I came back home uh to live in my mom's basement and figure out my life.

And it was in the moment when I came home that I realized what a mess I had made of my life.

You know, like I've had all these things handed to me.

I shouldn't even have been allowed to go to college.

I had bad grades.

If it weren't for that essay, I wouldn't have gotten in.

And I wasn't paying for college.
