Yeah, except in a scenario like yesterday when his stuff isn't uh uh as good as it has been in the past.
So I mean for for me I was never
quick to the plate and I knew it was frustrating for the teams, uh like for the teams that I played for, not for the teams that were trying to run against me.
Frustrating for the catchers.
And then trying to just work those things in as best you can and you know, you're working on them in bullpens and and giving your your catchers whatever numbers they have, you're trying to meet them so they can get guys out.
So I'm not sure what what Kirk's timing and his numbers are on his some of his throws, but clearly they had cease like down.
Despite mixing things up
leg kicks, um, shorter leg kicks, whatever it may be.
When they were showing the overheads.
They were like right on point.
Right when he was about to lift, they were gone right away.
So they ha definitely had something in there.
Um, mixing it up is all you can do.
You just gotta set timings differently.
You gotta try and get to the plate sooner, especially if uh the catcher needs more help uh getting guys out at those uh at those bases.
Um
I was never good at it.
Uh as a starter, I think you have to deal with that a little bit more.
You have to control that running game a lot more.
