I would just step off multiple times for the sake of resetting myself mentally.
And getting that boo from the Yeah, getting the boo.
I love the boo.
Every time you could step off, if you could get the boo, I try to just up the boos every single time.
But uh it sometimes you just need that extra like a few seconds of a mental break.
And if you're not prepared to throw that pitch and you're thinking about the runner, you you need to disengage.
But if you're not allowed to do that right now, obviously you get the two.
And on third if uh you know, it's a buck if if you don't get 'em.

if if you're not mentally prepared, then you're then you're just focused on the hitter.
You're not thinking about timing anymore.
You're thinking about the pitch that you have to throw and not thinking about, okay, I need to lift.
