Um, mentally it it I think that's where the focus becomes.
If if you are not
as mentally there as other games when you are feeling good control out there like m mentally of the game and physically of the game.
Sometimes that focus will drift away from the guys on the on the bases and you just need to focus on your pitch uh that you're executing on that exact moment.
Yeah, and oh shoot would be the minimal version of what you would be saying in your head about certain things.
So um
Yeah, I I think when you're pitching out there and you're pitching knowing that your defense is there behind you, you are throwing strikes.
You're trying to get those out.
But at the same time, I I mean, I'm not sure where the defense is currently ranked with some of the moves that have happened recently as well after the trades.
Yeah, uh yeah, for sure.
And especially if you've been pitching in the organization and for this team, uh that is something that you are used to and experiencing.
So then when you
I you know, a ball is hit up the middle and you're like, Oh, okay, uh someone's gonna get there and someone's not there or this ball is hit to left field and okay, I'm used to this b ball being caught and it's not caught.
that becomes a little demoralizing as well when you're on the mound.
It's frustrating, it sucks, but
you still can't approach things differently and then try and become a strikeout pitcher and take things into your own hands.
You still have to
Make sure you're throwing strikes and getting the ball put in play and letting your defense do the work, but
When you think you've done your work on the mound and you're like, okay, I got out of this jam, I did it.
