If you especially like the way things are going with certain players that are just getting some major league experience right now and feeling things out, you want those clubhouse, those good clubhouse characters in there kind of helping them, pushing them along.
Um, when you kind of just get rid of every, um, you know, senior player, I suppose that's in the clubhouse.
What are you going to do now?
Like you need a leader within that clubhouse to still carry this season and move it forward.
If, if, you know, selling off is what happens and yeah, coming to next year, you want to make sure that you have the parts that are available.
Um, and some, um,
you know, freedom, I guess, on the money side to make sure you're still bringing guys back if you want to bring guys back.
Like you said, if you're trading Gosman, do you want to sign him back again?
It seems like he wants to be here.
You want to make sure that there is an opportunity for him to do that, which is also why you don't want to break that relationship, whatever this trade may be, if it is happening.
You want to keep that relationship strong so you can bring guys back if you want.
That has happened before where guys are traded and they're brought back.
Happens all the time, so...
It's yeah.
Like if it's me, I'm not trying to get rid of everybody.
I want to make sure that there's enough veteran guys in that clubhouse that are helping some of these younger guys feel their way through the big leagues.
If you are getting guys, are you getting prospects that are close enough or are you getting big league?
guys that are already there and available that can help next year as well.
So, yeah, it's a tough one, but I'm not getting rid of all of them.
That's for sure.
