Yeah, some of it I think is also related to injury and what's happened this year.
If you have all the guys back that you should have back, whether it's Jimmy Garcia or Santander, you know, maybe there's some holes that are being filled in things that you're looking for.
But, I mean, some of the inconsistency that we've seen in the starting pitching, definitely the offense, but –
like the question has been all season, the offense should be there and has been there and has proven to be there.
It just hasn't.
So what do you fix to fill that hole?
What is the gap that you're missing?
Where can you help ignite some of that offense?
Um, and then you're picking up, uh, the right pieces, whether it's a bullpen arm again, or maybe Jimmy Garcia is healthy enough and he fills some of that or is, uh,
you know, a starting pitcher finding that spot.
But, you know, when we looked at the offseason, it seemed like the Jays filled those spots for this year.
Yeah, they picked up what everyone thought was the right guys, and it just hasn't gone the right way.
So...
You don't want to just start just moving pieces around and start blowing things up and say, okay, well, this didn't work, this didn't work, and then just you have a whole new team.
Let's start from scratch and see how this goes.
If you like the core that was there, you like the way things are moving, you like the way things are in the clubhouse, guys are getting along, people are still close.
That is what you want to hold on to because it's very easy for a team to do what the Jays did last year and then struggle this year and have an internal implosion in the clubhouse where guys are just not getting along, things aren't going well, they start getting at each other.
That doesn't seem to be the case.
Everyone seems to still be pushing for each other, rooting for each other, trying the best they can to pull this team out.
So you want to hold on to that as much as you can and just kind of bring in those right pieces.
