Yeah, I guess not bad.
I thought the thing that stood out the most was there was some movement in the pitches, and they were moving well.
They just weren't finding the zone as much.
He's got to sharpen that up a little bit, and I think he even talked about that postgame yesterday.
But his changeup looked really good, I thought, as well.
Of all the pitches, other than the 12th pitch at bat where he finally snapped off that breaking ball, I think, on the 12th pitch to get that strikeout, I thought that was probably his best pitch that he threw all game.
But the changeup looked...
really good throughout.
I think just sharpening some of those spots, nibbling on the edges where the ball is kind of just fading off a little bit too much at times, which is what got that pitch count up.
But overall, I mean, velocity, I think he topped out at 95, sitting around 93, 94 most of the time.

Obviously, 75 and two and two-thirds, that's not ideal, especially when you throw 30, I think, in the first inning and get yourself into a jam.
But getting out of it and showing the grit and determination that Max Scherzer generally has on the mound to do what he could do, yeah, I think it was all right.
Better than, I mean, the last IL stint game and then going right back on.
He's healthy.
He's good.
As long as he's able to keep pitching, I think that's a good thing.
Yeah, I think we're seeing kind of how that has gone the last couple of years, some of the recovery aspects of it.
