When I went to the men's team at 16, you weren't playing as a centre-back in the men's league in those days.
So that's when I went to play on the left wing.
Three months later, I played for Watford.
But the responsibility was for the team, so I played as a centre-back for four years.
Well, it's more to do with the fact that whatever the responsibility for the team is, that's what you do.
I'm a Scouser, mate.
Everybody is the same, but your response is different.
So we all felt that.
Everybody felt that.
But let me tell you about the essence of Liverpool.
I'm sure Man United would have been the same, but I can only speak for Liverpool and Watford, is that it's never been about Dalgish and Rush.
It's always been about the team.
So there's no way Kenny or Rush, he has two superstars in the team, or Kevin Keegan and John Tuchek before, could have felt more important than any of the other players.
So Rush and Kenny, we can't help the way fans see us.
Fans are always going to put the superstar players above their teammates.
But what we can help is the way we see ourselves in relation to our teammates.
And there's no way Kenny and Rush could have felt more important than Samuel and Jimmy Case and acted that way.
So therefore, I understand they may have been frustrated, but they could never have come out and said it.
Now, I'm not saying that if they were playing now, if I were playing now, I wouldn't do it because this is the future of modern football.
You see, exactly see players doing things.
