Football's a microcosm of life.
To get rid of racism in football, you have to get rid of it in society, not the other way around.
So unfortunately, we're using football to try and drive it.
So look at Mo.
We've changed the way people think about Muslims because Mo's here.
I can tell you, if Mo leaves, that's going to change.
So that is how fickle it is.
It can do nothing about it.
So it never bothered me.
What really bothered me?
And I'll tell you why, from a racism point of view, I've thought this since I was 18 years old.
I remember...
coming from Arsenal, up the Holloway Road, going back to Watford in the A1.
And I was being, me and Luther were being abused.
This is a Saturday at four o'clock on Holloway Road.
And, you know, it happened to be Arsenal fans.
But I knew Arsenal fans cheered Rocky and Wrighty.
So how real is that anyway?
But anyway, they're racially abusing us.
But we felt safe.
