It's the Guardians, I think, capitalizing on the Blue Jays' aggressiveness in a really nice way, but it's a trade that I could certainly see working out for both sides.

There's just certainly a lot more risk on the Blue Jays' side, both with Bieber's health and, you know, if this team gets bounced in the ALDS, regardless of how Bieber does, if Cal Stephen ends up being really good, then this trade might not get looked back upon very fondly.

Yeah, I think, you know, without knowing what the Padres are potentially asking for Dylan Cease or what the Marlins are asking for Sandy Alcantara, it's entirely possible that some combination of what they felt other teams were asking for other starting pitchers and how they feel about Shane Bieber in comparison to those other starting pitchers made it such that they actually felt that Cal Stephen for...

Bieber was actually the best value they can get.

I mean, maybe the Padres wanted Arjun Namal and Trey Savage for Dylan Cease and wouldn't budge off such a crazy ask just hypothetically.

So we're never going to have a full picture.

And that's something that I like to tell people when they come into my mentions or text me and ask, you know, why did this trade happen?

So that pushes down, that pushes down how far, uh, I guess Cal Steven is now probably the third best prospect right now, and maybe it goes further down the list, but, um, yeah, I think that the Dominguez price, especially in hindsight seems pretty fair.

Um, Watts Brown is certainly not nothing.

Um, but Dominguez has really been a completely different picture, at least stuff wise and platoon split wise, since he added that splitter and made it a huge part of his arsenal in the

been in the past that should be able to and has proven that he can now get lefties out just as well as he can get righties out which has historically been a problem for him and i think anything the blue jays

And if they feel Dominguez is, you know, sort of like having another lefty or at least someone who's put two neutral and can face a pocket of lefty.
