So now I have a nature that what I'm drawn to is the very thing that will destroy me.

Not instantly because it has pleasure instantly.

It eventually leads me down the road of destruction.

So God comes along and says, I'm going to give you my laws, but we can't keep those laws for 2,000 years.

Well, yeah.

Was it too, no, 1500 years, we can't keep those laws.

It proved, hey, because of the nature we have, I will naturally gravitate to what will destroy me.

God gives the law and the law is what is good for me.

So we look at the law as restrictive, it constrains my life, it ruins my life, it dulls my life.

No, it is actually what will give you longevity and a healthy life.

But we have a nature now, I'm talking about before the cross, that we're going to gravitate to what actually is going to destroy me.
