I think going after the ones with criminal records first makes a lot of sense.
But there are right ways to do it and wrong ways to do it.
And it looks like the image that they're trying to portray for political purposes is tough guys.
They don't really care about the rules.
They're going to get these bad guys out of the country.
And, you know, the politics is one thing.
But when it comes to
defending the Constitution, which the president took an oath to do, preserve, protect, and defend it, he displays no inclination, whatever, to abide by that oath.
And that should worry us across the board.
Well, I think they have a lot of remedies.
I think we're seeing that play out in Judge Boasberg's court in another immigration case in Washington.
Well, there are possibilities.
Plus, at some point, people in Congress are going to have to stand up and
because they have an interest in this as well.
It's not going to be a pleasant confrontation.
I think that's one reason Judge Wilkinson is kind of giving them a last chance over at the Justice Department to behave the way normal Justice Departments behave.
Obviously, I'm a Justice Department alumnus.
I was head of the Civil Division in Reagan.
And we argued very strongly for our positions.
But as representatives of the United States,
