I'm hearing terms like vast in terms of how you would like this to look.

I mean, it feels like the the maximalist version of your goals here would be that huge swathes of the countryside would be teeming with wildlife and storing water and trapping water.

But in a way that surely at that scale, at the scale which would be most beneficial for nature and water systems, food production industry would be taking a

That has led to some people sort of taking matters into their own hands.

We've had

Extreme you know, fringe cases, these are not representative, but we've had things like lynx being released into the wild.

You occasionally get beavers released into different areas.

Um what's your view on that?

The sort of civil disobedience for for the purpose of benefiting nature and ecology.

Where do you come down on some of these sort of environmental vigilante?

There are obviously some just quite uh basic tensions here.

I mean if a beaver builds a dam that leads to some flooding of some actual genuinely productive farmland, or I was reading about one case in Germany where the beaver's burrowed under a railway line and it took it out of service for a while.

How do other places manage that well?

What is what is the compromise that everyone can be reasonably happy with here?
