Look, I think scooters, we can have all the enforcement we want, and I think that is very much necessary.
But there is a rules of the road and respect of the road, and whether it's a cyclist or a scooter user,
You know, they shouldn't be breaking red lights.
They shouldn't be using excess speed.
And they should respect other road users.
And I think that is where we all need to have a responsibility here to ensure our roads are safe.
No, but they are saying people because those seizures are there.
The numbers speak for themselves.
The facts are that this year we're on a trend of three times the number of seizures compared to last year.
But look, there is an education and awareness piece that needs to be done.
I think, as rightly referenced to Minister Canny, is looking at a body of work in this area.
And I think that's going to be very much important.
I think it's important to note, David, that the government are fully committed to our targets and ensuring that we deliver the measures that we need to.
to meet them.
But, you know, you have to balance it up in relation to we are seeing reductions and we're seeing, you know, additional activity in our economy and in our society that obviously increases the demand on energy.
So, you know, I think we need to approach this from a perspective of being ambitious, but also ensuring that it's feasible and sustainable.
And I think in terms of what's ongoing now in relation to the climate action plan that we've engaged with in the Oireachtas Committee and is currently with the Minister,
I think there is a body of work there to ensure... That's the Climate Action Plan for 2026.
That hasn't been published on the 10th of July.
But it's ensuring that we work towards reducing emissions.
