Um but like I

I'm actively interviewing in a few places and having conversations.

Uh I'm being a little bit more um

slow about it, I think.

Uh they're

I've had multiple places uh sort of tell me like, Oh yeah, there's a senior dev job that would be good for you.

Um and I'm intentionally not applying for or interviewing for senior dev jobs right now.

Um Do you wanna talk about what you do want?

So I'm I mean the the things I'm interviewing for have been um a principal engineer job, a engineering manager job, a VP job, uh managing the managers of several teams, uh and a CTO job at a small company.

Um so that's kind of what where I'm at.

I think I'm shifting

slightly towards the management direction.

Um the principal job

I'm actually like I'm not positive that I want to be a principal somewhere right now.

Um, as much as it, you know

in theory is like, uh, get paid to be the smartest programmer in town.

Uh it still kind of

I'm not sure that it's what I want, right?

I th I think I've gotten exposed to like more interesting problems than just hacking on stuff by running this business.

And I don't want to like cut away all of that exposure.
