you know, let's pass a law and uh make a regulation and the regulation affects everybody, not just the the one incident where there was an issue.

uh but uh you know it's just uh

becomes just unnecessarily complicated.

I'm seeing these regulations and I'm seeing the uh impact on the business owners and do a good job and treat their people right.

You know, generally speaking, people want to do the right thing for the right reason.

But when the regulation gets in the way, you know, like I said, to mi from my point of view it takes all the fun out of it.

I mean, what's the point then?

You know, why am I in business anymore?

Just to fill out forms and paperwork?

Or is it to really serve my customers and develop my people and grow a business?

So it's a it's an ongoing challenge and I don't see it going

the other way.

I I see it getting more

complicated.

I see the adjustments coming further down into the smaller businesses, not just the huge businesses.

And uh I think the trend is uh is

Disheartening, frankly.

And and I think that the way that franchisees and franchises are being lumped in

and not identified as individual independent owners.
