And again reading the C C A C Agriculture and Land Use Report, what it you know, and with the greatest respect to Alex White, somebody I have a lot of time for, um, it is still they're they're they're nibbling around the edges of the issue.
They're all afraid to say what it is that we need to do.
And that of course is we need to transition away from our oversized livestock herd that is creating all kinds of difficulties.
We've seen it yet again this summer.
I see in the in the headline of a newspaper outside.
Before I came in, uh the the the industry is looking for three hundred million in taxpayers' money to subsidize fertilizers, right?
So to keep the the merry-go-round of overproduction going, generously subsidized by the taxpayer.
At some point we're going to have to get off this merry-go-round.
And for example, some of the things that the C C A C are are are pushing is biomethane.
They're saying this is a great transition.
Now, I did the numbers on biomethane and let me quote a US
study on this.
They said that for every sixty eight dollars in methane you produce from cow's manure, it costs on average two hundred and ninety-four dollars.
In other words, it costs four times more to make than you can actually sell it for.
Yes, it is.
Uh biomethane is designed So are you saying was he wrong?
I believe he was.
I think anyone promoting biomethane is wrong because all it is is a boondoogle designed to prop up uh livestock.
