Well, myself personally, you know, not being a very good player, I knew right away it wasn't going the way I needed it to.
Me too.
That's how I got into coaching.
No, that wasn't true with you.
You earned a lot of opportunity.
Now, you know what, Bart?
You know, one thing I've learned over the years, you know, some guys are fast starters, some guys are slow starters, and they're really good players.
At the end of the year, they usually end up in the same spot.
They say the back of the bubblegum card doesn't lie.
That usually works out that way.
But you might have an off year.
You might have a great year.
Who knows?
But I think guys probably start doubting themselves or questioning themselves when they start to get a little older.
Naturally, it catches up with you a little bit.
And that guy that, you know, isn't established, you know, he's done some good things, but he's riding that roller coaster, you know, and is this for real?
Am I for real?
And then, you know, if they struggle, they go, you know, they try to pinpoint things.
Or it goes back to when you asked a question like about Donaldson Batista a while ago.
Those guys knew who they were.
