So, yeah, that was a really special time.

And I think another thing that stays in my memory is Don Clark.

And also, as a coach, I understood that playing in Johannesburg in the fourth test was going to be probably a journey too far.

I think there's two things.

Because we played so much test rugby and really hard rugby, you know, you go back to that's

greatest game I think I've ever seen in the, probably the greatest game, one of the greatest games I've ever seen was that defeat of the Australians at Athletic Park, you know, 43-6 in the worst conditions you've ever seen.

And you back up all the games we'd had, which, you know, like the Brisbane game was, we won.

We won in the last minute to get out, you know, and that was Frank Bunce and Christian Cullen and that was the last minute we got out to win that.

So we'd had, and then South Africa in Christchurch, 15-12, five penalties.

We were pretty tired anyhow.
