Lockery in the back of the room who's a lawyer or lobbyist.

Um many of our lawyers are are considered lobbyists under uh Broward County's uh lobbyist and uh definitions these days.

So you may come as a land use lawyer and we consider you to be a lobbyist.

They consider themselves to be lawyers, we define them as lobbyists.

So is it anybody who has ever been a lobbyist during the course of their professional practice in Broward County?

when you're saying you don't want lobbyists, I want to I want to be clear as to what you consider a lobbyist.

Anybody who has ever voted a lobbyist?

So let me m perhaps this maybe this is clear.

Should it be anybody who has ever been a lobbyist?

Is it somebody who is a lobbyist today?

Or should it be like the resign to run law where they can't be a lobbyist and a board member at the same time?

So if they're appointed tonight and they don't take their seat.

Until June, they have an opportunity to step down as a lobbyist and withdraw as a lobbyist, and therefore they will no longer be a lobbyist on the day that they're on a board.

So three scenarios, right?

I've been one in the past, but I'm not one now.

I'm one now, but I won't be one in two weeks.

Or you don't want them to be a lobbyist at the time they are serving on the board.
