It is to allow people to criticize their government.

And he was doing that.

And he's perfectly within his rights to criticize his government when he thinks they're doing things that are not consistent with the values of the community.

And I

Hey, don't take that against anybody.

And to the last comment about lobbyists, I will point out to you that we have several lobbyists currently serving on city boards.

So apparently it's only a problem when we don't like the particular lobbyist.

So this picking and choosing lobbyists uh to me is uh is highly questionable.

And and again, I will raise the same issue I raised last time.

We either respect

the choices of a district commissioner for somebody that lives in his district and represents the district uh for these positions.

Or we don't.

Commissioner Sorensen, may I ask a question uh relating to uh to your position.

So just so I'm clear, uh I I think it it might help clarify my understanding.

Um is your objection to anybody who has ever served in any capacity as a lawyer in their profession I'm sorry, as a lobbyist in their professional career?
