Well, I pulled up in a taxi cab and got out, and I saw where a little crowd had gathered.

So I went over to the crowd and became part of the crowd.

You know, no, no security, no, no secret service was, was really paying attention to us because I was part of the press crowd.

So Reagan's entourage pulled up and he got out of the car and walked towards the building and he waved over and it looked like he was waving right at me and it kind of startled me.

And I waved right back to him.

And he went on into the building.

And gave his speech.

While he was giving his speech, I just milled around that area.

No one was paying any attention to me.

And together, we'll make America great again.

And so when Reagan came back out,

That's when I fired my shots.

No, not at all.

I'm sure today is different, but back then, no one approached me.

I had a coat on.

It was in my coat pocket.

Not really well.

I just pulled out the gun and just started firing wildly in the president's direction.
